Due to changes in NFPA 72, specifically Chapter 24, the use of Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) have become a requirement in rise buildings and other large facilities. The LED BDA Status Panel is an accessory meeting those requirements. This product monitors up to 8 individual system status contacts. It is designed to provide rapid audible and visual notification of any fault within your system.
Our SA-123 board is designed for subsequent alarm. This means that any time the alarm is silenced, a new alarm will re-sound the audible. The status LED stays lit until the system fault is corrected, even if the audible is silenced. The SA-123 board is included in our BDA status panel.
We offer a variety of options with our BDA Annunciator panels. The basic panel operates from 24vdc that you supply. Perfect when mounted adjacent to your alarm panel. As an option, we will include a 115vac to 24vdc power supply. An additional option includes a power supply with battery backup.
We have standard fault nomenclature, based on NFPA’s requirements, or your custom wording as may required by your local AHJ. This choice is available at no extra charge.
